When I started out the class of philosophy of education, I didn't really know what important it is to know about it. This importance for me much more for others since there are people that strongly believe in the impact that philosophy of education has in society. While Noddings phrases (1995), viewpoint of education is " the philosophical study of education and its challenges... its central subject matter can be education, and its methods are those of philosophy ". Quite simply, philosophy of education provides something to do with beliefs and ways to educated mean by philosophers through the background. Therefore , you will find five philosophers that caught my focus in the way that they explained their particular beliefs regarding education. The first is Karen Montessori (1870-1952). This female dedicated her worked with " phrenastheric” children, which means kids with mental retardation, health issues and disability. If aprendi dedicated her work for this, that's show that she studied about mental illness in children. Is usually interesting for me have realized that she grow her work with women´s right. Why is essential to emphasize her work in this kind of to divisions? In my opinion, since Montessori desired to speak continually society observed as much less. That is because they may have different capabilities and skills. The second philosopher is Blue jean Piaget (1896-1980). The principal philosophy of Piaget were that human beings will be combined simply by intelligence (cognitive domain) and feelings (affective domain). One strongest presumed was that children need conversation and heart to learn. They need to follow a method to develop every stage of intelligence. This individual thought that whenever we respect the stages expertise, not to neglect them, the youngsters would be learning step by step.
